Q4 2020 Performance of Top Simulation/Adventure Android Games in Brazil

The final quarter of 2020 saw dynamic shifts in the Simulation/Adventure games category on the Android platform in Brazil. Sensor Tower provides comprehensive data that allows us to delve into the performance of the leading games in this genre.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games observed a fluctuating pattern in downloads, peaking at 448K in the week of October 19th and then gradually declining to 280K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting strong at over 3M in September and dipping to 2.5M in the last week of December. Revenue showed an upward trend in the latter part of the quarter, with a significant rise to $44K in mid-December.

Z & K Games' Scary Teacher 3D experienced a decline in both downloads and active users throughout the quarter, with downloads falling from 161K to 104K, and active users decreasing from 564K to 512K. Revenue figures remained relatively low, ending the quarter at $279.

NANOBIT's Hollywood Story®: Fashion Star saw a decrease in downloads from 69K in late September to 15K by the end of December. The number of weekly active users also saw a downward trajectory, starting at 271K and ending at 135K. However, revenue showed an impressive increase, concluding the quarter at nearly $5K.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery by Jam City, Inc. showcased a mixed pattern with a mid-quarter spike in downloads at 74K in the week of October 12th, then settling down to 43K in the final week of December. Active users peaked at 339K in mid-October before declining to 272K at the quarter's end. Revenue figures, on the other hand, ended on a high note at $7.5K.

Lastly, Dark Riddle, despite its modest revenue figures, managed to maintain a relatively stable download rate, ending the quarter with 30K downloads. Weekly active users witnessed a slight decline from 55K to 54K over the same period.
